Affiliate program for $0 products?

The system doesn't support $0 products. You must checkout on all payment gateways. However, if it's just a $0 product just to get affiliate cookies on the browser then yes.

For example: You set up a $0 product that lands on page A, but page A does not have any order link, just a regular subscription form. If someone came from an affiliate link they will be cookied to that affiliate.

This person buys from you another product on another page/website, the affiliate will get the sale... assuming the cookie is not deleted or he/she didn't click another affiliate's link.
