Wahmcart and Wishlist Member

Per several requests regarding whether or not Wahmcart is capatible to Wishlist Member, I received a message directly from Wishlist concerning compatibility.

Read below:

Currently WishList Member does not offer FULL integration with all online payment options.

What FULL integration means is that if a user cancels their payment in the online shopping cart (Wahmcart.com in your case) it will communicate with WishList Member and block that users membership.

We are currently in the works of making FULL integration with as many online payment options as possible, but cannot give a specific time frame on each one at this time.

With that being said, WishList Member does offer SIMPLE Integration with all online payment options.

What this means is that if a user cancels payment or doesn’t pay for some reason you will have to manually cancel them within WishList Member.

Essentially the simple integration process works like this.

1) Customer goes to your site
2) They click the button to purchase your membership
3) They pay for the membership using your online payment option
4) They are redirected using the “Thank You URL” in the online shopping cart.
5) They register and are added to the site.

Also, something else to note is that the newest versions of WishList Member (v2.18.2 and higher) include a generic integration option which allows our users to set up integration between themselves and any shopping cart.

This will open up the playing field and allow users to create a gateway themselves by working directly with the shopping cart of their choice and using the door we open to send information back and forth between their site and the shopping cart.
