We recently received a request from a client regarding:

“I would love to be able to copy a product so that I don’t have to re-enter it in. Often times I’ll have different price points or have just one thing different in the product listing and being able to copy a product and just make the edits instead of having to go through the whole add product process would be a time saver.”

Well our fantabulous programmer, made it happen!

DONE: When you click on products, then ‘edit’, you’ll see at the bottom of the page, “save as new product” button.

He’s also added a feature to the sales statistics report.

DONE: When you view sales and then statistics, you can now run a report on the total sales per product. He’s working on determining if the software can be altered to include conversion stats per product as well. Right now conversions are only shown for all product conversions, not ‘per’ product.

As an online business owner, you may wonder if you will need Aweber if are already using WAHMCart.

This is a valid question to ask, since Aweber also has a variety of tools that can be helpful to business owners. So that you can better understand these questions, it is important to know the differences of each in order to determine whether using Aweber’s service in addition to WAHMCart would be a benefit to your business growth.

Although very similar, WAHMCart and Aweber differ in a few ways. The first difference involves the handling of unsubscribes and invalid email addresses. With Aweber, when an email newsletter or autoresponder does not go through, creating a “bounce,” or a client unsubcribes from receiving messages, the contact will be automatically removed from the contact list.

In WAHMCart, these incidents are handled differently, although it is not necessarily a drawback. When a message bounces or a contact unsubscribes, they are not automatically removed from the contact list.  Some business owners actually prefer to NOT have their contacts automatically deleted. So depending on your preference on the handling of contacts, you may or may not prefer the features of Aweber.

WAHMCart has more complete and user-friendly shopping cart tools, when compared to Aweber. Although Aweber allows some shopping cart integration, specifically with the features offered with PayPal; WAHMCart allows business owners additional automation, more features, and increased ease-of-use than can be found with Aweber.

Another important feature that WAHMCart possesses, that Aweber does not, is the affiliate center. By including an affiliate system with your business’ products, you will feel the sensation of working smarter, not harder and can actually increase your sales through the helpful efforts of other small business owners. By having the affiliate tools available via WAHMCart, you will quickly see how beneficial these types of tools can be to the growth of your business.

So, although similar in many ways, these two systems do have their variations. Whether you choose to use Aweber in addition to your WAHMCart subscription is one that may vary individual to individual.
However, it is important to understand that although WAHMCart has everything you may need, all in one place, you want to think about how you will want the bounces to be handled. If you determine that you want them deleted automatically, then Aweber would be an excellent addition to your business. Other than the contact handling though, WAHMCart is truly an “all-in-one” business solution that will save you significant time, so you can better use your time to help your business to grow.
